Here at The Welcome Centre, we're more than just a food bank.

We provide people in crisis with food and other essential items, but it's just part of what we do. We also offer people visiting the food bank one-to-one advice, guidance and support, to help them get back on track in the long term. 

Here are some of the additional ways we can help:

  • Income maximisation for clients with no existing support
  • Access to grants
  • Support to access a phone or computer
  • Reading and literacy support
  • Signposting
  • Emotional support
