We have two locations for our food bank, one for clients and one for donors. Please ensure you go to the correct location.

Food bank collection point and postal address

- We are open from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday for pack collection and to receive financial donations, excluding Bank Holidays.
- We will be closed on 29th May for the Bank Holiday.
Donations centre - to drop off donations of food and goods
- Unit 10-11 Queens Mill Industrial Estate, Queens Mill Road, Lockwood, HD1 3RR
- You'll find us on the same industrial estate as Signs Express
- We are open from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) between 10.00 am to 4 pm for your donations
- We will be closed on29th May for the Bank Holiday

Ellie Coteau - Chief Executive
Ellie ensures The Welcome Centre delivers a high-quality service to people in need in the community. She’s responsible for the centre achieving its operational and strategic aims.
She manages and supports the staff team, policy development and stakeholder engagement. Also, Ellie secures funding for the centre and manages the strategic plan for the future.

Mike Bristow - Centre Manager
Mike is responsible for the day-to-day running of our Lord Street site, including recruiting, training, and managing our volunteers.

Emma Greenough - Fundraising Manager
Emma runs all the promotional activities for The Welcome Centre, including the website and social media. She also develops relationships within the community and the business sector.
She supports a wide range of activities to generate both financial support and food donations in line with our marketing and fundraising strategy. Speak to Emma if you want to discuss donations, events, partnerships or fundraising.

Charlie Taylor Advice - Guidance and Support Manager (AGS)
Charlie's role as Advice, Guidance and Support service manager is to develop and deliver the AGS service to ensure we provide high-quality, accessible provision to all our clients and referring agencies. To maintain and develop good working partnerships within Kirklees and to deliver and develop training for our clients, staff and volunteers.

Jess Johnstone - Warehouse Manager
Jess is responsible for the day to day running of our warehouse. She oversees donations of goods, manages our stock and recruits, trains and manages our pool of warehouse and driver volunteers.

Duncan supports our clients through signposting, advocacy, supporting them into services, and client grants

Katie Peel - General Assistant
Katie assists the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of our Lord Street site. This includes supporting the recruitment, training, and management of our volunteers.

Paul Dickinson - Driver
Paul is our driver, responsible for delivering food packs to clients who are unable to access the centre. Paul also assists with stock movement between our warehouse and main centre as well as collections from our local food suppliers.
