Post: Advice, Guidance & Support (AGS) Caseworker
Salary: £27,277 to £32,742 pro rata (fte 37.5hrs) depending on experience
Contract type: Fixed term contract to 31 st March 2027 – possible extension subject to
funding.
Part time (22.5hrs per week over 3 days) 7.5hrs per day, specific days to be agreed
Location: central Huddersfield,some outreach across South Kirklees, post not suitable for
remote working
We work with individuals and families who are experiencing crisis. As a caseworker you will
be expected to work in a person centred way to identify and understand the individuals
needs and concerns and assist them with addressing these through signposting, advocacy
and supporting them into services. All our services follow trauma informed practice
principles.
You will undertake assessments with the individual to create clear action plans ensuring that they get the best possible outcomes. You will keep an ongoing caseload and build positive relationships, providing professional advice and guidance in times of hardship.

- Providing one to one support to people we support
- Maintaining operational knowledge and partnerships
- Producing information and guidance resources for people we support
- Supporting outreach initiatives across South Kirklees
