One17 supports The Welcome Centre through Aviva Match Funding Campaign
We are delighted to share that ONE17 has once again provided generous support to The Welcome Centre. Having supported us for many years, ONE17 donated through our Aviva Match Funding Campaign, which brought their total donation to £1,750.
These much-needed funds will help strengthen our Advice, Guidance and Support Service, ensuring that everyone who accesses our services is supported with clear pathways towards independence, free from long-term food bank reliance. The funding will also contribute towards the purchase and distribution of essential food supplies for people experiencing food crisis.
Caroline Lee from ONE17 Design Charitable Trust says:
"It’s always a pleasure to support the amazing work done by the Welcome Centre. Over the last 15 years we have seen how the Charity has grown to help the needs of local people offering far more than just the essential food packs. Overheads are kept to an absolute minimum, great community partnerships are forged, donations of food come from far and wide and the work of an army of fantastic volunteers means that it really does embrace true community spirit all year round."
