Hillards Charitable Trust Donates £1,000 to The Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre has received a much-needed funding boost thanks to a generous £1,000 donation from Gay and Peter Hartley’s Hillards Charitable Trust.
With grant funding becoming increasingly difficult to secure, this support is particularly welcome and will help The Welcome Centre continue providing vital services to people across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas.
A representative from Gay and Peter Hartley’s Hillards Charitable Trust said:
“Gay and Peter Hartley’s Hillards Charitable Trust is a Yorkshire-based grant-making charitable trust, founded in Leeds in 1988. The Trust makes grants to local charities across 11 counties in North and Central England.
“The Welcome Centre shares the Trust’s vision of enhancing social support in the Kirklees District, and we were pleased to provide a £1,000 donation to continue the vital work they provide.”
The donation will help The Welcome Centre continue its work supporting local people and responding to the needs of individuals and families in the community.
