The F.V. And E. Brook Charitable Trust donate £10,000 to food bank.
The Welcome Centre was delighted last week to receive an unexpected donation of £10,000. The donation was brought down to the Lord Street centre and presented to Lada Rotshtein, Volunteer Coordinator and volunteer Mandy.
The donation was given by The F.V. And E. Brook Charitable Trust, which was was set up by Mrs H N Mills, in memory of her parents Mr and Mrs F V Brook ( Joint chairman of Brook Motors). They distribute donations twice a year to various charities and organisations. They have a particular interest in supporting charities that provide services to people in Huddersfield and West Yorkshire.
