Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN)
We are a member of The Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) which supports and advocates on behalf of independent food aid providers operating across the UK while the need for charitable food aid exists. IFAN’s vision is of a country without the need for charitable food aid and in which good food is accessible to all.
Feeding Britain and West Yorkshire Food Poverty Network
Feeding Britain is an award-winning charity with a vision of a UK where no one goes hungry. They support a national network of over 45 regional anti-hunger partnerships comprising more than 600 local organisations – ranging from community centres and schools to local authorities and social enterprises
The Welcome Centre is an active member of the West Yorkshire Food Poverty Network which is one of the regional partnerships of Feeding Britain. We are also an active member of the Kirklees Food Poverty Network. Through these networks we work with other emergency food providers locally and regionally, to share best practices, knowledge, and resources.

The Living Wage Foundation is the organisation at the heart of the movement of businesses, organisations and individuals who campaign for the simple idea that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.
Quality for Health
The Welcome Centre has been awarded the coveted Quality For Health standard, which demonstrates the delivery of high-quality services to local people.
Quality For Health is a quality assurance system for organisations delivering health and well-being services in a marketplace that is increasingly reliant on providers being able to evidence the delivery of high-quality outcomes. The system addresses the pillars of quality identified in the NHS Five Year forward view and the five key questions posed by the Care Quality Commission. Quality For Health is a quality assurance award, developed by Voluntary Action Calderdale, in partnership with Calderdale CCG for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sectors.
