Grants for clients
We can support our clients, both individuals and families, who are struggling financially to access grants for essential items. We can apply for grants for items such as
- cooker
- fridge freezer
- washing machine
- beds
- household furniture
- other essential items will be considered
How to access our grant service
- Our grant service is only available to Welcome Centre clients. To access this service, a grant application must be completed by a referring agency such as Huddersfield Mission, Local Welfare Provision, or your GP on your behalf.
- Once we have assessed the application and have all the information needed, we will then apply to our grant funders on your behalf.
- If our grant funders approve your application, we will then purchase the item you require.
The grant process can take several weeks, so it may be some time before you receive the items that you have applied for.
