Charlie Takes on the Great North Run to Support The Welcome Centre
Charlie Taylor, our dedicated Fundraising Manager, is once again stepping up to support The Welcome Centre, this time by taking on the world’s largest half marathon, the Great North Run.
Joining 59,999 other runners, Charlie will be tackling the 13.1-mile route from Newcastle to South Shields, all to raise vital funds for our charity.
Here’s what Charlie had to say about her latest challenge:
"I'm always asking our incredible community to support our charity, so I thought it was only fair that I keep the momentum going and take part in another fundraiser. After completing the Three Peaks a few months ago, and receiving such an amazing response in sponsorship, I'm hoping to raise just as much this time around! Please help if you can. With rising demand for our services, every penny raised will go directly to supporting people experiencing food poverty in our community."
