National Foodbank Awareness Day 2026
On Friday 4 September 2026, we will mark National Foodbank Awareness Day, and we're inviting local businesses, offices, schools, community groups and organisations to support us by hosting a food donation drive.
By collecting much-needed food and household essentials, you can help us keep our shelves stocked and ensure we can continue providing life-changing support to people across our community.
The demand for our services remains high. Last year alone, we supported 5,029 people, including 1,934 children, with emergency food, practical advice, support and hope when they needed it most. We distributed enough food for 333,812 meals and provided 19,261 crisis packs, including 11,802 food packs.
Every donation makes a difference. Whether you organise a collection in your workplace, community group or local organisation, your support will help ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone.
If you would like to get involved and host a food donation drive, please contact Charlie Taylor at [email protected] for more information.
Together, we can make National Foodbank Awareness Day 2026 a powerful show of support for local people facing hardship.
