'SORRY WE MISSED YOU' 2019 CERT 15
Following 2016’s Palme d’Or-winning I, Daniel Blake, Sorry We Missed You follows one family in Newcastle as they navigate the changing landscape of work, zero-hours contracts and the gig economy.
Having teamed up once again with long-term collaborator Paul Laverty, Loach’s latest work is a clarion call for the reform of workers’ rights. Sorry We Missed You was made possible thanks to BFI National Lottery funding.
All profits from this screening will be donated to The Welcome Centre.
The screening will take place at Huddersfield Ukrainian Club, Edgerton Road, Huddersfield, HD1 5RA on Friday 24th January.
- Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm.
- A full bar will be available together with tea/coffee and snacks
- Tickets cost £5.00 per person or £3.00 for concessions
