Huddersfield Beer and Cider festival | The Welcome Centre

CAMRA, which is an independent, voluntary organisation that promotes good-quality real ale and pubs across the UK is jointly hosting the event which will provide the opportunity to find out more about the ales and ciders being brewed by a growing number of local breweries. 

 Taking place at Huddersfield Ukrainian Club, Edgerton Road, Huddersfield on Friday October 12th and Saturday 13th October, guests can sample up to 30 different guest ales and local ciders which will be on offer. 

The sixteen guest ales will be provided by the following local breweries

Mallinson’s
Milltown
Empire
Golcar
Lord’s
Nook


Alongside fourteen real ciders and perries from the award winning ‘Udders Orchard cider press.

The event, which is open to everyone, will include live music on Friday night from The Last Bastions, a local band performing well-known covers as well as their own material. Doors open on Friday at 2pm till 11pm, and Saturday from midday till late.

 Saturday will see performances from Tony Wrest (Flock of 3) who will perform a solo set of blues rock classics and Marsh Blues Club (not for profit) will welcome The Christy Herron Blues Band for the first time.

As with any festival, food will be on hand all day Saturday from the Outdoor Gourmets; delicious wood-fired pizza.


Huddersfield Beer and Cider Festival supports The Welcome Centre food bank (and more) with financial donations. Non-perishable food, toiletries and clean bedding will be accepted on behalf of the Welcome Centre at this event.
