Sheards Annual Quiz Night announced in aid of The Welcome Centre
Our annual quiz night is back!
All funds raised will go to The Welcome Centre, Sheards chosen charity of the year for 2018/19.
The event details are below
- Thursday 17 October 2019 starts 6.30pm
- Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club, Lockwood, Huddersfield
- Teams of 4 people
- Cost is £50 per team and includes quiz entry and hot supper
Guests will be entertained by the legendary quiz master Kevin Sanders, who has worked with us for over 20 years! Alongside the quiz, there will be a raffle to help raise money for The Welcome Centre, with prizes kindly being donated from local businesses and staff members.
Over the years, we have carried out a range of activities to raise funds for our charity of the year including business events, quiz nights, seasonal dinners and sporting events such as Tough Mudder. Our staff love to be involved in the fundraising events, with 4 of our team spending half a day in The Welcome Centre warehouse to volunteer!

Our quiz night events are always really popular, and last year was a sell out! We saw plenty of teams from local businesses, many of whom now attend each year. We look forward to welcoming new and old teams this year in what is set to be a fun but competitive evening!

The donation of £800 following the last quiz night enabled us to provide 16 families with enough food to last a week. That's the equivalent of nearly 1300 meals of food. Sheards have already raised over £3,000 for us in our time as their chosen charity and we are extremely grateful for their support.
