Fans For Foodbanks raises more than £12,000 for The Welcome Centre

Huddersfield Town fans can be proud of themselves after helping to raise more than £12,000 of much-needed funds for local foodbanks.

Huddersfield Town Supporter's Association host regular food collections at home games for The Welcome Centre and other local foodbanks, however due to the Covid19 restrictions, they've looked at other ways they can support their community.

After setting up the fundraiser and with Yorkskire Live reporter Steven Chicken covering the Huddersfield Town v Preston North End game topless to raise awareness and money for foodbanks the total went through the roof. 

The Welcome Centre team want to say a massive thanks to all of the Huddersfield Town Supporters for continuing to support us for many years.
