We were lucky enough to receive some grant funding to help us develop a new website, so we’ve been working hard behind the scenes for the last few months getting the site ready.
Hopefully you’ll be able to find information easily on
We hope you like the new site; let us know what you think!
We also held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) earlier this month, which was a chance for all of our supporters to find out more about our work over the past 12 months, and our plans for the future. If you weren’t able to join us at the AGM, you can catch up on what you missed by reading our 2018 Annual Report, and hopefully you’ll be able to join us for next year’s event.
November has been a busy month for us; so far we’ve given out 995 packs, providing food for 17,228 meals, and we’ve not even reached the end of the month yet.
Unfortunately, we expect December to be even busier than November, as the colder weather kicks. As well as our usual packs, we’ll be giving our clients special Christmas packs in December, to try and make the festive season a little bit easier for them. If you’d like to get into the festive spirit by supporting us, it’s not too late to sign up for our 50p pot challenge, and we’ll be launching our Online Reverse Advent Appeal this weekend – keep an eye on the website to find out more.
Next month our staff and volunteers will be working hard as usual, but we will have a few changes to our opening hours over the Christmas period:
15 Lord Street will be closed on the 25th and 26th December, and 1st January. All other dates we’ll be open as usual
Our Lockwood Warehouse will close at 1.15pm on Monday 24th December, and reopen at 10.15am on Wednesday 2 January.
It’s still a little too early to sign off with ‘Merry Christmas’, so instead I’ll just say thank you for your support, we couldn’t do it without you.
